Dear Fans of Abandoned New York,
I hope this letter finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for your unwavering support and enthusiasm. My passion has always been uncovering the stories behind New York's abandoned places, which I find truly inspiring.
Lately, I have been facing some personal struggles, especially over the last six years. Finding the motivation to work on my editing has been particularly challenging, especially since I'm still out there taking pictures and making a bigger backlog of photos that will need to be edited. Despite these difficulties, needing a new computer and so on, your support has been a beacon of hope and encouragement for me and even helped me launch my new website, DrkCurrent.com, back in 2022.
Through your engagement and my shared love for urban exploration, I continue to uncover the fascinating history and unique beauty within these forgotten structures. Every photograph, story, and piece of history unearthed not only preserves the legacy of these places but also breathes new life into them. My contributions help keep the spirit of adventure alive, and for that, I am immensely grateful.
Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey. Here's to many more explorations and the countless stories yet to be told. I'm looking forward to a productive 2025 with new work being posted hopefully monthly on both of my websites.
Warm regards,
JC
